What is Peacemaking?

Peacemaking is an ancient social practice embedded within Indigenous and non-Western societies. It is a process for solving problems and building community, bringing people together to talk from our deepest values and our best selves.

Roots To Sky Sanctuary - Roots to Sky Sanctuary (RTSS or “the Land”) is a BIPOC-owned partnership for social good. RTSS gathers decades of collective expertise in health and wellness, entrepreneurship, plant medicine, activism, food justice, restorative justice, education, and arts programming to create a cutting edge multi-use property serving local counties and our existing communities from metropolitan areas.

Temple Mother Earth - Temple Of Mother Earth (TME) is an international community gathering place for plant medicine and healing international plant medicine healing center created out of the need for more welcoming places serving for people of color. The founding Temple is based in a predominantly BIPOC neighborhood in Southeast Washington DC, offering multi-faceted healing modalities with a primary focus on sacred plant medicines. It is a safe container of spiritual resources and space holders to support everyone in its community as they step powerfully into their sovereignty.

LaLa Gardens Cooperative - LaLa Gardens Cooperative is a community-owned living, learning community center in Fort Collins, Colorado. It is a one-acre residence and natural farming demonstration of permaculture, transitioning from private to cooperative ownership as a model for regenerative development. It is reflective of hyper-local systems of partnership culture, membership, gifting, trade and other forms of mutual support. It is developing models for applying regenerative systems to real estate, education, economy, culture as a model for any neighborhood.
