This document represents the Foundational Layer of Regen Living DHO, through membership. People who are part of Regen Living DHO must be identified here otherwise they're not eligible for being recognized as a Member. There are two ways of becoming involved with Regen Living DHO: being a Core Member or a Contributing Member. These are the definitions of Members:

Core Members

• Are able to energize roles
• Are able to participate in Circle Meetings regularly (if energizing a role)
• Can energize any role not being energized: picking up the threads
• Can propose quests* to be energized by Contributing Members or potential Contributing Members
• Are allowed to vote (through consent) on how funds are spent (if energizing a role)
• Are allowed to vote (through consensus) on Transition Members becoming Core Members (if energizing a role)
  • Those not present in the meeting will have up to 72 hours after the meeting to vote
• Are allowed to invoke a process of offboarding a Transition Member at any time (done throughout majority voting of 2/3 + 1)
• Are allowed to vote on changes on Meta - Agreements and Foundational Layer

Contributing Members

You become a contributing Member after having completed at least one quest.

• Are able to engage in quests*
• Are not allowed to energize roles unless specifically agreed through consensus of Core Members
• Can propose changes to Meta-Agreements and Foundational Layer (do not have voting rights)
• May propose quests in alignment with MOM DHO’s purpose or may energize quests already proposed by the Core Members (to be approved through consent by Core Members)
• A quest is an action that furthers our overall mission, related to either on the ground activities, or online actions, that culminate in global campaigns.

—> Offboarding: in order to have a Core Member and Transition Member out of the organization you must have at least 2/3 + 1 of the total votes from other Core Members.

Note: after 6 months of a Core Member not energizing a role, they are automatically offboarded. (Core members can request a leave of absence for extended periods of time before they leave)

Core Members and Contributing Members agree with the Foundational Layer and the Self Organization Governance.
